How do I register for a class?
Download and complete the registration form. You must register in person at the ROP Education Center located at 385 N. Muller St., Anaheim, CA. 92801. All forms of payment will be accepted except for personal checks.
What are the prerequisites for EMT?
A valid American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card is required within the first week of class. We will be providing a CPR class for EMT students during the first week for those who have not obtained it previously.
What does it take to get my EMT certification?
After successful completion of the EMT course, you will be eligible to take the NREMT certifying exam. (You must be at least 18 years of age to take the exam.) After passing your NREMT exam, you must be accredited through a local emergency medical service agency. To do this, you will have to pay the fees for accreditation and also pass a Department of Justice background check. Then you can go to work!
Do you provide EMT recertification classes and skills testing?
Yes we do. In addition to providing recertification classes and skills verification testing, we provide continuing education classes along with the new OCEMS accreditation training. Contact Thanh Nguyen at (714)502-5963 for information.
