Albert Acosta

Emergency Medical Technician program

I started my EMS career 16 years ago with Medix Ambulance. Several years after that, I was hired by a local fire department as a firefighter/paramedic. During my time on that job, I saw everything from severe injuries to massive heart attacks. I remained a paramedic until I was promoted to the rank of fire engineer. Fortunately, I still have the opportunity to provide emergency care at the side of the paramedics with whom I work.
